4 -- Explicitly don't inline yet another constructor to avoid
5 warnings (autarch).

7 -- Explicitly don't inline the constructor to avoid warnings (rafl).
8 -- Pathological test cases for API methods equals, is_a_type_of and
9 is_subtype_of (rafl).
10 -- significant improvements to API methods is_a_type_of, is_subtype_of
11 and equals (nothingmuch).

13 - Fixed braindead bug in the way I override ->validate, which caused
14 valiate to never correctly pass a constraint.

16 - Minor documentation grammar fixes and one major example error fixed
17 - Much improved error reporting. Now we return the 'internal' error
18 that kicked a validation failure. It's still best to use this for
19 debugging rather than for actual user error messages, since I think
20 we are rapidly approaching a need for Moose constraints needing more
21 in the error and message reporting.
22 - Documentation for the above.

24 - I guess we don't support the "subtype MyType, [TypeConstraint]" syntax
25 anymore. Changed the recursion test to reflect that, which should fix
26 my 100% fail rate :)

28 - New Feature: slurpy method for when you want a structured type
29 constraint that allows trailing arguments of indeterminate length.
30 Please see the documentation and the '11-overflow.t' test for more.
31 - Documentation for above as well as a bunch of POD cleanups, spell
32 checks and improvements to formatting.
33 - Stevan Little submitted a sweet update to the '10-recursion.t' test
34 that blows my mind. Will probably form the core of a to be done set
35 of cookbook style PODs. Worth looking at.
36 - First step at improving the error message you get when validation
37 fails. A full error stacktrace is not in this release, but you now
38 at least get to see part of the offending value.

41 - Fixed typo in previous changelog
42 - documentation improvements and updates
43 - increased version requirement for MooseX::Types so that we can take
44 advantage of the recursion support added.
45 - added test for recursion.
46
470.06 06 December 2008
dd8c991f 48 - Added a 'helper' type constraint called Optional. See docs for more.
3108fd7b 49 - added lots of tests to cover the API better, coverage and fixes for
d8547fef 50 the ->parameterize method in particular have been clarified.
dd8c991f 51 - changes so that the type contraints are more forgiving when null
52 values appear in method calls.
3108fd7b 53 - used ->make_immutable which should speed up the constraints.
54 - removed some unnecessary calls to use Moose when I wasn't using Moose.
d8547fef 55 - lots of little code cleanup work and more internal documentation.
56 - This version requires a newer Moose than previous versions. The
22727dd5 57 Makefile.PL has been updated to reflect this. This is a required
58 update.

61 - Fixed some wackiness in the documentation.

98336987 630.04 07 November 2008
64 - Bumped minimum required versions of Moose and MooseX-Types to solve
65 problem with overloading and type constraint names (issue resolved
d8547fef 66 in Moose code.)
98336987 67 - Changed the way the required Perl version string is used to increase
68 compatibility and lowered minimum required Perl
69
59deb858 700.03 29 October 2008
71 - Fixed incorrect Perl version string (rafl)
72 - hide the meta classes from pause. This should clarify which POD is
73 the right one to read and also I want to discourage people from
74 subclassing that stuff since it will probably change
75 - various documentation cleanup
76 - new test 'example.t' with runable versions of the code in the example
77 POD section.

af1d00c9 790.02 28 October 2008
fe1fd33c 80 - cleared up some typos in the test suite
af1d00c9 81 - Fixed some POD formatting issues, mostly some dumb tabs I ended up
82 with when I switched editors. Added a bit more documentation
83
16aea7bf 840.01 27 October 2008
af1d00c9 85 - Completed basic requirements, documentation and tests.
