Make the use64bits and usethreads friendlier/braver;
they no more wimp out if the platform is unknown.
On use64bits if gcc used -DUSE_LONG_LONG is added
to the ccflags (this dependency on gcc caused a slightly weird
reordering of Configure, but things still seem to work.)
