Welcome to Enlightened Perl

Enlightened Perl is a membership organization which is built around a movement within the Perl community. Its goals are complementary to the Perl Foundation. Specifically, we support certain Perl development efforts that ensure perl's future as an enterprise-grade development platform.

The Organisation has decided on its first round of Document Bounties. Three bounties for the sums of £450, £450 and £300 (GBP) are to be used to produce documentation. Please visit the Document Bounties #1 page for more information.

  • The voting is over and it can be formally announced that Jay Kuri has passed muster and is now officially a Director of the Organisation. Congratulations to him and a note of thanks to the outgoing Director, Jay Shirley, for his work in the Organisation.

  • The Extended Core page is now live on the site and people are invited to join in or utilise the ideals and goals of this project.
  • The Membership is voting on the election of a new Director to the Board. An announcement will be made in the week of the YAPC::EU in Lisbon.
  • The grant for Enlightened Moose (Proposal 4) has been allotted. C. Prather has been selected as Grant Manager and will be guiding this grant.
