  15 Unicode Character Database (contributory data files for
  16 the standard itself) can now be found in

  19 for specific details about particular files or sets of
  20 files.

  22 Unihan.txt is a very large file. For convenience, the current
  23 Unicode 3.1 version of Unihan.txt is also available in
  24 three compressed formats in the Unicode 3.1 update directory.

  32 The Unicode 3.1 update directory also contains a winzip
  33 version of all the other contributory data files for
  34 that update directory. That file is named:

  36 UCDwithoutUnihan.zip        (Use winzip)

  38 UCDwithoutUnihan.zip is a convenient way to download
  39 most of the Unicode Character Database files, but to
  40 be complete, be sure to also get ArabicShaping.txt,
  41 BidiMirroring.txt, and Jamo.txt, which were unchanged
  42 between Unicode 3.0.1 and Unicode 3.1, and which were
  43 therefore not included in the 3.1-Update directory.

  45 Note that the files are zipped in
  46 exactly the same format they have on the server (with Unix
  47 line endings). From a browser, right-clicking on
  48 UCDwithoutUnihan.zip will allow automatic download and unzipping on a
  49 Windows system with winzip installed.
