1515with relatively small, very fast, caches. Eventually, the problem gets
1516whittled down to one that fits in the cache, from which point it
1517benefits from the increased memory speed.

2949non-largefile ccflags, ldflags, libswanted, and libs in the %Config
2950hash (e.g., $Config{ccflags_nolargefiles}) so the extensions that are
2951having problems can try configuring themselves without the
2952largefileness. This is admittedly not a clean solution, and the
2953solution may not even work at all. One potential failure is whether
2954one can (or, if one can, whether it's a good idea) link together at
2955all binaries with different ideas about file offsets, all this is
